- Rename the directory to _old
- Download the file phpMyAdmin-5.2.3-all-languages.zip
- Extract the contents on the directory /phpmyadmin
- Login to the interface using the domain link https://yourdomain.com/phpmyadmin (assuming with the current configured account)
- Backup any database (if needed) by exporting to a SQL file
- If errors encountered due to app is not configured properly, create a /phpmyadmin/tmp directory.
- When prompted, create a configuration file config.inc.php and download.
- Copy the downloaded file and make the security permission as Owner(R/W), Group(RO), Others(RO)
- Click on settings->Two-factor authentication and configure.
- Scan the QR code file and enter this to Google authenticator (IOS/Android)
- Now you can login with enhanced security.
